The fifth book of the Logoria Series will be out soon, Derailed should be ready by Christmas (unofficial), and, in the meantime, I need a new series. The best way to improve as a writer is, well, to write. So I’m playing around with a few ideas. Derailed was drama and action, so maybe this time around I’ll try romance?
Hmm… I think I could totally spin a romantic series. Once upon a time there was a guy and a girl, something happened to keep them apart, a lot of nail biting and frustrating events ensued, but in the end love won out and they ended up together… or did they? Hehe, romance could be fun!
Alternately, I’m considering a quest-like series. I think that would give me a bit more flexibility, and the story could go in any number of directions. I could exercise quite a few mental muscles on a quest, right?
My weakest genre thus far has been comedy. Humerous, I can be. Sarcastic? Definitely! But relentlessly funny? I’m too serious to be funny all the time. Oh, but I’d love to be! And I love challenges! A successful comedy series could take me one step closer to my dream (being witty at the right time, instead of twenty minutes later… or a script deal with Fox. I could go either way).
Anyway, I’ve got time to decide. Expect the new series to begin sometime this fall. (also unofficial).
